The Candelaria Hills located in Southwest Nevada, USA have been mined since the 19th Century, today the mining lands are sporadically chosen for what may be left to find and it is rumored the the Candelaria Hills mining is closed. Turquoise found here hold some of the best colors in the world. From deep electric blue to medium green spotted with black, brown and gold flecks most rare are the dark blue with red webbing stones. Although the remaining Turquoise is nearly impossible to reach as a mining operation occasionally, new stones appear on the market.
